GuideVault

Support

Report issues with enough detail to reproduce them.

GuideVault is actively developed. Good issue reports make fixes faster, especially for reader behavior, Docker setup, metadata import, layout issues, and browser-specific problems.

What to include

Include the version, environment, browser, device, and steps that led to the problem. Screenshots are especially useful for reader layout, cover display, metadata panels, and mobile behavior.

Version or image tag

Include the GuideVault version or Docker image tag you are running.

Container environment

Note whether you are using Docker Desktop, Linux Docker, a NAS container UI, or another host setup.

Browser and device

Include browser name/version and whether the issue appears on desktop, tablet, or mobile.

Steps to reproduce

List the page, item, tab, button, or reader mode involved so the issue can be recreated.

Docker / startup

Include compose file changes, volume paths, port mappings, and the latest container logs.

Reader issues

Include page mode, browser, file type, page count behavior, zoom level, and whether the issue appears in fullscreen.

Metadata issues

Include the content type, fields affected, whether the item uses ComicInfo or guidevault.json, and what value you expected.
